St.Kitts

St. Kitts is a part the Leeward Island chain in the Caribbean Sea, 200 miles southeast of Puerto Rico and to the north of the Windward Island.  The area is 68 square miles with a population is estimated at 38,819 in the year 2000.  St. Kitts is an English speaking country with most of the population is of African decent and there are smaller communities composed of mixed race and European decent. The Capital of St. Kitts is Basseterre.
