Café

A Wednesday night on Nevis is not complete without a visit to Eddy’s. An especially lively time is during Culturama, when hordes of people watch the carnival festivities from the second story restaurant in downtown Charlestown. It’s been named after the affable owner, Eddy Williams.

Eddy’s occupies the second floor of a typical West Indian building, and the charming wooden gingerbread and fretwork creates a pleasant atmosphere. You can sit on the porch overlooking Main Street, Charlestown, for drinks or dinner, or you can perch yourself at the bar, or at one of two other dining areas. Sociable ambiance. Interesting but simple food is what Eddy’s is known for: shepherd’s pie, grilled burgers and chicken quesadillas. On Wednesday nights, Eddy’s serves up plenty of food, plus many drinks, good music, and good fun.
